Kellan Lutz
Kellan Christopher Lutz was born March 15, 1985 in Dickinson, North Dakota. He has 6 brothers and 1 sister. Kellan is the middle child. He spent most of his childhood living in North Dakota and the Midwest. His family has also lived in Arizona.
Kellan started to model when he was 13 years old. After Kellan graduated high school, he moved to California to go to the Chapman University and study chemical engineering. Kellan had also considered becoming a Navy Seal but soon decided to pursue acting.
Kellan enjoys many extreme sports such as skateboarding, weight training, baseball, track, basketball. Lacrosse and tennis to just name a few. One of his passions is horror films and he choosing to perform must of his own stunts for his films.
Before hitting big in films, Kellan is known for acting in many TV shows. In 2004, Kellan has played parts in the TV shows The Model Citizen, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2005, he was in CSI:NY, Summerland, The Comeback, Six Feet Under. In 2007, Kellan was in the original CS and Heroes. In 2008, Kellan was cast in the miniseries Generation Kill and in 2008/2009, he was in 6 episodes of the popular remake of the show 90210. In 2009, he was also in 2 episodes of the show Valley Peaks.
Soon Kellan started to get more noticed when he appeared in a few major motion pictures. He starred in Stick-It (2006), Accepted (2006) and Prom Night (2008). Kellan has also done some stage work. In 2006, he was in a Hilary Duff commercial for her fragrance With Love…Hilary Duff and in 2007, he was in her With love music video. The band Hinder also put him in their Without You video.
Kellan certainly got pushed to stardom by playing Emmett Cullen in the popular Twilight series. The sequel New Moon came out in November 2009 and the follow up Eclipse due out this June. 2010 will be a busy year for Kellan. He also has the remake of the original horror classic Nightmare on Elm Street and the drama Meskada coming out.
